Hey, I'm Stibnitive. My thread about this can be found here: [incoming]
I became recently very involved in the social media of streamers on hitbox and then I found out what a great community it was. People are pro-active, staff is extremely involved, there is no special elite like in Twitch and everybody is happy to help other people out in any way.
I heard about Lauralania's sunday charity and I thought of a certain idea with many benefits for everyone:
A channel with a 24/7 stream where certain streamers stream according to a weekly schedule with every week a new charity they raise money for.
There are obviously many upsides to this:
1. the people who stream gain a little more attention.
2. making this a renowned section of hitbox would make hitbox look exactly how I described it: as a bunch of great, altruistic, pro-active bunch of awesome people. It's good for the hitbox image
3. Last but obviously not least: more money for charity
It's not only great for charity, but also for the individuals and the site itself.
There is one thing I want to add: Even though hitbox has a huge non-english community, I'd request to make this channel fully english. This is because it's the language used for international communication, not just here, but also in the world. It would be rather confusing if the language on the channel consistently changed for a larger period of time.
Of course the channel should give a little less 'freedom of expression' (that's what your own channel is for), but I suggest just keeping the guide lines in mind for a not adult stream, so no games with nudity, no racism and keeping swearing to a minimum.
Anyway, that was my idea. I would love to see something like this in the future and I would also like to be a part of this. Tell me your ideas about this.
