Hey all, I'm xilana and i just started streaming on hitbox => hitbox.tv/xilanaI recently left my job behind ( i ran a bookstore) to move to my partner in sweden. We quickly found out that it is nearly impossible to find me a job without knowing the language. So as a very social gamer my friend and partner told me i should get into streaming.( even if its just to keep my days filled) And while i still have a lot to learn i have enjoyed it so far. I know that i wont be seeing any money income anytime soon, but atleast i don't feel useless sitting at home while my partner works. I used to work 11 hours a day so going to 0 was quite a big change. I absolutely LOVE hitbox, the community is so nice and helpfull. If you ever pass by my stream , please feel free to give tips and hints on how you think i could improve my stream. Any help is welcome! Much love , xilana <3

I would love to help you. This is pretty much how I began streaming. I moved to a new country and needed something to fulfill my days that felt meaningful. You are on the right track first off by not expecting money from streaming. While it's a nice bonus that can happen, if you stream only to make money you are going to find yourself quickly burned out. With your charming personality I am sure that people will naturaly want to support you out of the goodness of their hearts The stream community can be incredible. Should you experience the negative side of it, which every one does, just shake it off. There will always be negative people. You can ignore, block, or ban their IP. Also your amazing so don't even worry. If you have any questions just ask I will do everything I can to help the transition into the world of streaming easy and enjoyable!

Thanks! At the moment i can't stream that much yet as the internet we have is kinda crappy so if more then one user is on it well .. bye bye stream , but we're moving to a different appartement soon with better internet yay! I set my page/profile up to look a bit more attractive, tho i got like zero editing skills so its kinda basic. I'm still a bit wondering what are good games to stream, i'm mainly an mmo player. But i do play some JRPG's and heroes of the storm (cause blizzard is <3 ). i'm currently using a combination of subalert and twitchalert to announce followers/donations tho dont know yet how to make a scrolling text of it. Will have to read up a bit on that. Thanks again for the support, i follow your stream closely cause i realy like your personality and energy towards the viewers.

Play the games that make you happy. If you play something just because you think it will get you viewers then people are going to see that your not enjoying yourself. Happy streams are good streams. It's okay to try new stuff, but the best thing is to just be yourself. You are a wonderful person and people will like you for who you are guaranteed!
I might do a run through on sub alert on my stream. If I do I will let you know when!
